Cabbage by C.S. Fritz
A demonic garden horror story that will have you questioning miracles.
Scream For Us by Molly Doyle
A spicy MFMM novella that will make you wish everyday was Halloween.
Nikolai Petrov by M.A. Cobb
A super dark, violent and spicy mafia novella that will speak directly to your unhinged dark romance heart.
Diavola by Jennifer Thorne
A haunted Italian vacation story that left me wanting a main character with more agency.
A Botanical Daughter by Noah Medlock
A cozy queer horror that will either inspire you to grow a flower garden or delete your neighbour.
The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet (Wayfarers, #1)by Becky Chambers
A cozy sci-fi, with low stakes and high hopes.
Finna (LitenVerse, #1)by Nino Cipri
You'll love getting lost in the multiverse in this sci-fi, horror novella.
Hills of Shivers and Shadows by Pam Godwin
Hills of Shivers and Shadows will remind you why you fell in love with dark romance to begin with.
The Cruel Dark by Bea Northwick
A gothic horror romance that will have you doubting who to trust.
Don't You Dare by C.E. Ricci
This is a hot, MM, college bi-awakening love story with a lot of angst. I am obsessed with the premise of exploration being based on a dare.
Feral by MFK R
A creepy house/winter wilderness horror novella that will have you questioning your own sanity.
That Sik Luv by Jescie Hall
A dark stalker romance that will have you demanding a masked stalker of your own.
Do Your Worst by Rosie Danan
A fun, surprisingly spicy romcom with gothic vibes and a friendly haunted house.
I recently read 'Raiders of the Lost Heart' by Jo Segura and this book gave me a similar vibe in terms of an archeologist searching for meaningful/lost artifacts. Two strong willed professionals who don't trust each other. And the setting is like a third character. Except this book is spicier, which I really appreciated.
The Bad Ones by Melissa Albert
An unsettling exploration of toxic teenage friendship with paranormal horror vibes.
Lies That Bind by Rae Knowles, April Yates
A sapphic erotic horror that uses sex as a weapon and salvation.
A Tempest of Tea by Hafsah Faizal
Them: "Critique colonialism, but make it a YA action-packed heist adventure."
Hafsah Faizal: "Hold my tea"
Going Down: A Trapped Valentine's Day Novella
In just over 100 pages, we follow the relationship between neighbours turned enemies, Emma and Colin. They get stuck in an elevator when the power goes out, and what else is there for two hot neighbours to do but make clever use of the mirror on the ceiling ;)
What Feasts at Night by T. Kingfisher
A great gothic, supernatural horror mystery and a solid follow up in the Sworn Soldier series.
Morgan Is My Name by Sophie Keetch
A compelling new adult feminist introduction to the legend of King Arthur.
