This is my favourite book of all time. I read it multiple times a year. It’s futuristic-sci-fi, but also a love story, and also poetry. It’s structured as a series of letters between two elite soldiers on either side of a ‘time war’. We see the letters change from taunting, to respectful to deeply powerful and loving.

Both of these MCs push each other's boundaries with increasingly steamy and explicit 'pranks', including putting a camera in the other person's bedroom.

This is an amazing follow up to book one, An Undertaking of Hart and Mercy (also 5 stars!). I love being back in Eternity and Tanria with our Marshals Twyla, Frank and Duckers. Yes, that's right, Duckers is back with his optimism and good humour.

I loved this just as much as Butcher & Blackbird. We have the same iconic vibes of 'multiple deleters' falling in love, but the story is unique and fast paced.
