Don't You Dare by C.E. Ricci

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

This is a hot, MM, college bi-awakening love story with a lot of angst. I am obsessed with the premise of exploration being based on a dare. One friend (Keene) wants to explore his sexuality with men, and his best friend (Pen) is worried men on the apps won't treat his friend right, so he offers to help Keene explore. The chemistry, the angst, the dirty talk are all amazing!

If you liked For the Fans by Nyla K, you'll see a lot of similarity with this story. The only thing that kept this from being 5 stars for me was there were a lot of fade-to-blacks. Don't get me wrong this book is very explicit, but they we kind of montage their experiences together. In one scene they're in a hot tub and it fades to black and I just keep thinking about what happened?! I need to know. Which is how you know this is a great story. I am greedy and want more of it.

I listened to this on audio and it was great. If you are an audiobook listener you'll appreciate this one. Liam DiCosimo narrates Pen and I am here for it.

This book is best read at a baseball game watching your man settling behind the plate. Try not to stare too obviously at his toned ass.
