That Sik Luv by Jescie Hall

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

A dark stalker romance that will have you demanding a masked stalker of your own.

Steeped in Catholic guilt, our young FMC, is trying to succeed in the influential church her family is a part of. We open the book with the FMC knowing she has a stalker, but we're not sure who he is or why her. The book slowly unravels to reveal conspiracies, lies and power behind the seemingly charming life everyone is living.

Our MMC keeps his identity hidden behind a mask or paint for the beginning of the book (hot), and uses his 'sik' version of love to empower and embolden our FMC to find her own truths and fight for her own freedom.

The kinks are kinking and the smut is smutting in this one.
🔥Masked Stalker
🔥Breath play
🔥Impact play
🔥He doms
🔥CNC
🔥Lots of religious trauma

Let's all take a moment to appreciate Joe Arden as the MMC. This MMC is unhinged and Joe Arden makes sure you know that from the inflection and breathy way he approaches the narration. I loved it.

This book is best read in church, while a masked man watches you.
