Finna (LitenVerse, #1)by Nino Cipri

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

You'll love getting lost in the multiverse in this sci-fi, horror novella.

This book is weird and fun and so creative that I listened to the 3 hour audiobook in one sitting. We're following two customer service employees who work at an Ikea-type furniture store, they recently broke up but are forced to work closely when a shopper gets lost in a wormhole. Yes. You read that whole sentence correctly. And we just get more unhinged and wild from there.

The manager seems unfazed and rolls out an old school TV/VHS player with a dubbed video created by the off-brand Ikea about wormholes and you. Ava (she/her) and Jules (they/them) armed with a small compass-type device journey through the multiverses of off-brand Ikeas to bring back the missing shopper. Each new store/universe is wild and dangerous and so vividly imagined you'll think you're being attacked by that sentient chair.

The pacing is great. The gender rep is on point. There is a zombie-esque horror element which I wasn't expecting but really loved. I highly recommend this for sci-fi, horror lovers. You won't regret it.

This book is best read in the nihilistic bachelor pad while hiding from a swarm of violent sales assistants.
