A fun, surprisingly spicy romcom with gothic vibes and a friendly haunted house.

I recently read 'Raiders of the Lost Heart' by Jo Segura and this book gave me a similar vibe in terms of an archeologist searching for meaningful/lost artifacts. Two strong willed professionals who don't trust each other. And the setting is like a third character. Except this book is spicier, which I really appreciated.

I loved the vibes of being in an old mansion in a small village in the UK surrounded by countryside and caves. The characters were interesting and had great banter.

I listened to the audiobook version of this and let's all just take a moment to appreciate Shane East's narration of our MMC. I first heard his narration as Peter in Vicious Lost Boys by Nikki St. Crowe and now he's an auto listen for me.
