Protect Me: A Bodyguard Romance by Lauren Biel

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

A mafia romance, with great banter and a morally gray MMC that will have you calling him daddy.

I love this forced proximity novella, where a bodyguard is charged with protecting a mafia princess ahead of her arranged marriage. He decides protecting her, also means she can't touch herself and steamy calamity ensues. Both of these MCs push each other's boundaries with increasingly steamy and explicit 'pranks', including putting a camera in the other person's bedroom.

There are so many highlights and annotations from when I just giggled or gasped. I had a great time reading this.

This is a departure from my first Lauren Biel book, 'Don't Stop', which was erotic horror. So as long as you set expectations and know this isn't erotic horror, you'll have a great time.

Also, can we take a moment to talk about the spice?! Vance's dirty talk had my toes curling. I loved it.

I will absolutely be reading more of Lauren Biel's books. She's one of the best.

This book is best read in your bedroom, while being watched by your bodyguard. Try not to blush.
