The Fake Mate by Lana Ferguson

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

My first omegaverse book, and I learned somethings.

Okay, first thing I learned is I hate the world slick, more than I hate the word moist. I admit, that is on me, not the author. I had to Google medical fan art of knotting to fully understand what was happening. What I can say is I have not unlocked a new kink with this one.

I loved the contemporary romance with some of the best tropes
💀 fake dating
💀 forced proximity
💀 touch her and 💀
💀 he doms
💀 he falls first

The banter was witty and clever. The dirty talk was on point. The third act break up was predictable, but still aligned with the characters and the book.

This book is best read in the nurses station of the hospital you work at, on a Thursday night, while trying to figure out who keeps watching p*rn from the work computer.
