À La Folie by Nova Kane

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

"This is not your average love story; this is a dark circus of pleasure that will leave you breathless, longing for more and questioning the very nature of your own depraved heart."

This book delivers on that quote. Erotic horror at its peak in this novella.

A Canadian 'Cirque du Désir' arrives in a small Ontario town and promises to give people a night of their wildest sexual dreams/fetishes. In this dual POV story, we follow Indie, a seemingly innocent young woman, who is dragged to this circus by her friends. We also follow Lux, the deranged, morally black leader of the circus.

The smut is top tier. The characters are compelling. And the ending is exactly what I wanted.

If you are a sensitive reader, this book is probably not for you.

This is the first book I've read by Nova Kane, but it will not be the last.

This book is best read in a small Canadian town, because that's where all the closet freaks (like you) live.
