The Dire Reaction by M.A. Cobb

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

A dystopic, shifter, erotic horror that will have you questioning your morality.

Them: Yes, but can you write a spicy scene with 20 orgasms💦?
MA Cobb: Hold my beer. 🍺

An airborne plague made of wolf DNA with 'dire' reactions, is the background to this dystopic erotic horror. Dani is a vet and crushing hard on her cowboy client, Sam. They are exposed to a virus that leaves them with heightened senses and an unending appetite for sex. A small subsection of the population is infected and begin to shift into murderous wolves, enter Alexander.

I think entire psychological papers could be written about Alexander. I am so torn as to if he's the worst (he is), but also redeemable? M.A. Cobb really pushes my boundaries with him and I loved every minute of it. That's why I read erotic horror in the first place.

This book follows two 'couples' (term used lightly), one couple is super hot/romantic, etc, the other is horrific, and upsetting is so many ways, yet still erotic.
