The Me You Love in the Dark: Books 1-5 by Skottie Young

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

An insular, creepy read that hits all the right notes.

A young artist rents a haunted house in a small town. The 'ghost' reveals itself to the artist in the dark and a friendship forms, then morphs. The undercurrent of dread, fear and uncertainty thread through the graphic novel and is made even more real through the stunning artwork.

This book is best read with a glass of red wine, in a gothic mansion, while painting what your ghost looks like.
