Food For Thought by Ariana Ferrante

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

A stunning Sapphic Greek mythology retelling with horror vibes.

“Destruction. Destruction, I can do.”

We follow Limos, the goddess of starvation, hunger and famine. The fates have said that if she ever met Demeter, goddess of harvest, the exact opposite of Limos, they would destroy one another.

When Demeter's daughter is kidnapped, guess who knocks on Limos' door?

This is a gorgeous, horrifying, meditation on the destructive force of love. I read this in one sitting and loved every moment of it! This is so beautifully written, I highlighted so much of this book.
